Over the years our work has been supported by volunteers from other parts of India, as well as from the USA and Europe.   We have had contributions from engineering, renewable technology, rural development and management students from Cambridge University, Columbia University, MIT, University of Warwick and Twente University.  In addition, professionals in engineering, carpentry, marketing, photography, web and film production, have also helped to improve our systems and enhance the quality of our training programs.

If you’d like to contribute your skills and knowledge to our work, please send a copy of your latest Curriculum Vitae together with a covering letter outlining your proposed contribution to kpaul@grassrootsindia.com.

Please be aware that as a small organisation we are unable to accept all requests.

Lakeside School:

We have been selected as a host organisation for the Global Student Leadership Program, which enables 15 young students (each year) from the Lakeside School, Seattle, USA to live in a typical village in the Himalaya for an entire month. Students live with their ‘ádopted’ parents and learn about the challenges of mountain communities. A basic course in Yoga is also provided during this period.  See above photo gallery for images
